Our wedding is an intimate celebration, and we've been thoughtful about our guest list. Your invitation will note exactly who in your household is included. We kindly ask that you honor that — no additional plus-ones beyond what's listed.
-
We love your little ones. For this particular celebration though, we've kept our guest list to those named on the invitation. If your child is listed, they are absolutely welcome. If not, we hope this gives you a rare night off.

The dress code is formal — think floor-length gowns, elegant midi dresses, suits, and tuxedos. Filipino traditional wear such as a Barong Tagalog or Alampays are not just welcome but warmly celebrated. If you want to lean into the wedding palette, consider this your permission to have a little fun with it. And one kind ask: please avoid white, ivory, cream, champagne, or any similarly light-colored dresses or gowns. Head over to our full Wedding Day page for all the details.

Parking is available for free on site at The Hartwood.

The Hartwood is popular wedding venue located in a rural area. Rideshare availability may be limited depending on the time of day. We strongly recommend coordinating transportation ahead of time, especially for the ride home after the reception.

The ceremony and reception are both indoors. Cocktail hour will be held outdoors, so we recommend a light layer or wrap for the evening air. March in North Carolina can be beautiful but carries a chill once the sun goes down. Head to our Wedding Day page for more info.

We're so glad you want to know! Head over to our Wedding Day page for a full breakdown of the cord, veil, and coin ceremonies and what each one means. We want you to experience them, not just watch them.

Your RSVP will include a space to note any dietary restrictions or allergies. Please fill that out as accurately as possible so we can make sure everyone is taken care of at the table.

We are having an unplugged ceremony — meaning we kindly ask that phones and cameras be put away while we exchange our vows. Our photographer will be capturing every moment, and we want everyone fully present for this part of the day. During cocktail hour and the reception, snap away.

Please RSVP by January 13, 2027. After that date we won't be able to accommodate changes to the guest list or meal selections, so the earlier the better.
