Think floor-length gowns, elegant midi dresses, suits or tuxedos. This is a celebration worth dressing up for, and we'd love to see everyone looking and feeling their finest. If you'd like to lean into the celebration a little extra, our wedding palette is full of rich, nature-inspired tones that we'd love to see in the room. Our Filipino heritage is woven into every part of this day, and nothing would make us happier than seeing it reflected in the room. If you have a Barong Tagalog, a Filipiniana Terno, or any other Filipino traditional dress — wear it proudly. It is not a requirement, but it is one of the most meaningful ways you can celebrate with us.a kind note on color
Out of respect for the couple, we kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing white, ivory, cream, or any similarly color dresses or gowns. This applies to dresses and gowns only, a cream barong or alampay is perfectly fine. We appreciate you keeping this one small tradition with us.
How the Day Unfolds
The Ceremony - 4:00pm indoors
As part of our Filipino heritage, our ceremony will include several traditional rituals that have been passed down through generations.The Cord (Yugal)
A decorative cord is draped around us in a figure eight, symbolizing infinity. It represents the lifelong bond we're entering and the equality we've promised each other. Two lives, one unbroken loop.The Veil
A veil is draped over our shoulders to symbolize being clothed as one, sheltered under the same roof, sharing the same life.The Coins (Arras)
Thirteen coins, blessed and exchanged between us. They represent a mutual promise that this partnership is built on care, not just love.The Cocktail Hour - 5:00pm outdoors
After the ceremony, we invite you to step outside, take a breath, and celebrate. A heads up for planning purposes: cocktail hour will be held outdoors. March in North Carolina can be mild but unpredictable — we recommend a wrap or light layer for the evening air.The Reception - 6:00pm indoors
